Now entering its 22nd hour. State, federal and local authorities are on the search tonight in the bridgeton area. The home of an 18yearold escaped accused killer who is still on the run. Bridgeton police scowering the city tonight as the manhunt for 18yearold Michael Huggins continues. It all started 35 miles away when police say huggins along with three other teenagers overpowered Correctional Officers and escaped from the harbor fields youth detention al facility in Egg Harbor Ci

18yearold Michael Huggins remains at large. Police say huggins and three other teens escaped from the harbor field detention facility overnight and then crash a stolen car blocks away. Well, Michael Huggins is still according to authorities at large and should be considered dangerous. I just had confirmed to me from a Law Enforcement source that this is the same Michael Huggins indict add couple months ago on murder charges. He is allegedly shot and killed a person in bridgeton back in october of 2016. Now, as you mentioned all of this started with a jail break and then stealing a car. Behind me is where that car came to rest. You can see the skid marks still on the sidewalk. Amazingly didnt cause any damage to the building. But it came to a rest after hitting another car and who knows how long that joy ride might have lasted if they had

Reporter joseph luna caught escaped teens on Security Camera as they slammed into his jeep, and hit an Apartment Building and took off running with police just 15 seconds behind. Reporter schools in several Atlantic County towns were closed that the manhunt grew to include a hundred officers, and around 9 00 a. M. More than 50 miles from where the escape took place huggins three accomplices were caught in bridgeton. Police say a resident of the apartment complex on this avenue reported suspicious activity outside.
