On April 3, Loveland Police Department officers responded to a 911 call of a man and woman screaming for help in the 1600 block of East 16th Street, according to a Tuesday release. When officers arrived, they learned two men had allegedly broken into a residence, robbed the three occupants, sprayed them with pepper spray, stabbed one victim in the head and fled the scene; the victim was later treated and released and no other injuries were reported.
Brittany Grim, 36, appeared before 8th Judicial District Court Judge Joseph Findley for a continued disposition hearing one week after she was expected to enter a guilty plea last Monday. During the hearing, following the impact statements of several people, Grim plead guilty to unauthorized use of a financial device, a class 1 misdemeanor.
