There is rain just exiting reading right now, moving out of berks county and into northern Chester County and into Montgomery County as well. The system is moving to the east at 30 miles an hour. G street is closed between erie and venango several hours after a chemical leak began leaking from a tank inside a commercial building. Skyforce 10 was overhead yesterday evening as fire crews and hazmat teams rushed to the area. The leaking chemical is divynl benzine. At this point in time, though, crews on the scene telling us this morning there is very little concern of an explosion. Last night, they evacuated businesses in the area but this morning, weve seen some people headed into work at nearby businesses. Just up the street here, there is a fire truck. There are firefighters who are also standing by. We know the situation is being monitored and they hope to have things cleaned up today.
