RICHMOND, Va. (CNS) - COVID-19 restrictions are easing in the U.S. and some places around the world, but hurdles remain for Virginia students seeking to study abroad.
Many Virginia colleges are following travel recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and State Department when making decisions about the safety and feasibility of study abroad programs.
The organizations currently don’t suggest traveling to most countries, “whether it be due to COVID or other issues,” said Sarah Carrier, academic advising coordinator at the Virginia Commonwealth University Global Education Office. ....
