Barcelona have labelled Sevilla’s decision to refuse to sit in the directors’ box and shun a pre-match meal as an “unjustified attack.”
Sevilla confirmed in a club statement earlier this evening that they “reject the behaviour of Barcelona during the period” for which the club are currently being investigated regarding payments totalling €7.3million (£6.4m; $7.8m) being made to a former referees chief.
Barcelona have since responded via a club statement where they “totally rejected” Sevilla’s decision describing it as an “unacceptable.
