ILOILO CITY The local government of the island province of Guimaras has started its study on the prevalence of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

“The main goal for this is to establish baseline data on COVID-19 prevalence in Guimaras,” said Governor Samuel Gumarin, who is also a medical doctor by profession.
The provincial government has started a rapid diagnostic test (RDT) for 2,187 people in a study that will identify COVID-19 cases, particularly those who have developed antibodies to COVID-19.
