50th Anniversary
The children of Dr. Clyde and Maryanne Root happily announce their parentâs 50th wedding anniversary. They were married in Minot, North Dakota on May 23, 1971. Dr. Root has worked at Bethel University in Mishawaka, Indiana for 32 years in the roles of Librarian, Director of Library Services, and Associate Professor of History. Maryanne is enjoying her retirement after 24 years at Bethel University. Together they have three sons, Mark (Sara), Jonathan (Susan), and David, and four grandchildren, Katie, Madelynne, Melissa, and Andrew. They enjoy traveling (especially to Fort Myers and Mackinac Island), bike riding, going out for coffee, and spending time with their family.
