The transition of power from one president to the next is a very complicated process and it actually is getting more complicated by the year. It doesnt always go so smoothly. A new book takes us behind the scenes. How george w. Bush and barack obama managed a transfer of power. Its by political scientist and professor martha joint kumar. Martha welcome to press pass. Historically it might be the smoothest transition of one president to another from two different parties in our modern history. It was very very good transition.
