Arsenault was well known entering the season for his offensive acumen and this winter, he stepped it up on the defensive end as well, emerging as one of the conference’s best all-around players, which helped the Falcons remain competitive throughout.
Arsenault started playing basketball at a young age and he took to it quickly.
“Basketball is my number one sport and has been for most of my life,” Arsenault said. “I have spent more time and effort on basketball than I have on any other sport. The thing I love about basketball is the competitive scene of it. I love competing and putting all my effort on the court. When I’m on the court, all I think about is basketball and I leave everything else behind.”

No discussion of the Hoboken music scene of the 1980s would be complete without the Individuals. That band’s infectious mix of pop jangle and No Wave cool helped foment the Mile Square City’s cultural renaissance.
But shortly after the group disbanded, guitarist Jon Klages decamped to the West Coast. Now, some 40 years later, he’s released his first solo album, “Fabulous Twilight,” on Danbury Fair Recordings.
As a New York City kid, Klages didn’t have to travel far to discover Hoboken. For a time, he shared a railroad flat on Jefferson Street with bandmate Glenn Morrow, whose earlier band “a” had originally talked Steve Fallon into booking live music at his family’s new restaurant, Maxwell’s.

For many music aficionados, the name
Enoch Light is synonymous with Bachelor Pad Music, innovative stereophonic recordings that featured bongos ping-ponging from speaker to speaker as a combo laid down exotic jazz-lounge sounds. Others know him as the producer of the early Free Design records which, decades after being lost in the mists of ’60s pop, are now recognized as some of the most influential vocal-group albums of the era. And some, while not familiar with Enoch Light’s music, see in their mind’s eye the bold graphics on the gatefold covers that contained LPs released by his Command Records and Project 3 labels, remembering them from their parents’ record collections, or from scavenging moldering bins at garage sales.
