A bay area woman has a rare form of diabetes and depends on a service dog. Her helper led her to discrimination by ride share company. I am eric thomas. The woman says lyft drivers refused to give her a ride. Shes calling the company to do more to educate its drivers. Liz kreutz is live in the newsroom. Reporter taliah lubin moved to San Francisco to start law school. She taken three rides with lyft and each time she had drivers cancelled on her or given her a hard time. We spoke with her today in her apartment. Reporter taliah lubin has type one diabetes. Her dog is her best friend and guard y guardian. Shes sassy and saved my life a bunch of times. Reporter taliah says she faces discrimination. Most recently from lyft, three different drivers refused her service because of astra. When Something Like this happens, it feels it is so painful.
