Inequality divide. from a wage perspective, we ve got to address this. well, hillary clinton proposed some things that would address it, trying to link growing corporate profits and wages for average workers. however, she lost the election. now what we have is a tight labor market, a recovery that s pretty long in the tooth, wages are going up to some extent. the question is, as jolynn alluded to in the piece, how long is that going to last. and are we going to get to a point where the economy overheats soon? we do expect to have faster growth in 2018 in part as a result of those tax cuts. the question is what happens in 2019 and 2020. do we tip into recession then. the likelihood of a recession a couple years down the road is higher. the chances of good growth this year are stronger. let me add one wrinkle to what john just said. which is there s anecdotal evidence that wages are about to ....
