Bartlesville Police Department Holding Memorial Service For Officers Killed In The Line Of Duty
The Bartlesville Police Department is holding its annual memorial service for officers who have been killed in the line of duty within their county as part of National Law Enforcement Week. This year, the department is adding another law enforcement name to their list for the first time in more than 80 years.
The service is being held at noon Wednesday in front of the department building on Johnstown Avenue and the public is welcome to attend.
This year, they are reading off the 30 names of those who have lost their lives on the job in Washington County, with the most recent addition being WCSO Deputy Kyle Davis who was killed in the line of duty in March when deputies say an inmate attacked him.
