Samantha Jo Searles, 33, on Friday, Feb. 5, appeared in Saginaw County District Court for arraignment on single counts of maintaining a drug house and conspiracy to possess methamphetamine. About 11:30 a.m. Friday , police responded to Wickes Park Drive in Saginaw and discovered the body of 25-year-old Joseph T. Black. Black had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and investigators are treating the death as a homicide, said Michigan State Police Lt. Lizabeth Rich.
