Phyllis Hendershot Costine, 92, of St. Clairsville, OH died Sunday, January 17, 2021 at her home. She was born January 27, 1928 in Barnesville, OH., a daughter of the late Theodore Clifford and Lillie Yockey Hendershot.
Phyllis was a teacher and homemaker. She lived a long, full and active life dedicated to family, church and music, Those who knew her will remember her warm, elegant and gen- uine style. She was a graduate of Beallsville High School in 1945 and graduated from West Liberty University in 1949. She was a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church for many years serving in the Choir, she loved to sing. She was very active in many organizations; the Tuesday Night Club for 50 years, Thoburn Choir for 50 years, a Sunday School Teacher, Girl Scout Leader and a proud St. Clairsville High School Band parent. ....
