As sports fans eagerly await the return of live Gaelic Games later this year, TG4 has St. Patrick’s Day covered with plenty of GAA nostalgia.
Starting with the not-so-distant past, TG4 will broadcast a replay of the 2020 All-Ireland Hurling Final at 4:20pm. The Limerick and Waterford game took place last December, just 12 days before Christmas day. The Déise didn’t end their 61-year famine on this occasion; Limerick won 0-30 to 0-19 points after an impressive third quarter performance.  This was the Shannonsiders’ second All-Ireland win in three years. When their captain Declan Hannon lifted the Liam McCarthy Cup in an almost empty Croke Park, they also become the first team since 1961 to win each of their League and Championship matches in the same ....
