King Library Press Hammer International Book Arts Biennale welcomes printer Richard Kegler

Kegler will kick off the weekend with the free public lecture, “Victor Hammer, The Man from Uncial” at 7-8:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11. The next morning, Kegler will host “A Letterpress Workshop,” alongside King Library Press Director Paul Holbrook, Ph.D., running from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12.

National Archives, UK Libraries to present Earle C. Clements Award to Kentucky educators

The National Archives and the University of Kentucky Libraries Wendell H. Ford Public Policy Research Center will present the 2022 Earle C. Join University of Kentucky Libraries’ King Library Press for its Spring 2022 Book Arts Weekend with The Itinerant Printer Chris Fritton. Fritton will kick off the weekend with the free public lecture, “Painting with the Press” at 7 p.m., Friday, March 25, in the Great Hall of the Margaret I. King Building, with light refreshments to follow. The next morning, Fritton will host, “A Collaborative Workshop with The Itinerant Printer” beginning at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, March 26.
