Covid-19, which may or not be a pandemic in nature, and government and police overreaction to it none the less, has, in effect, made sitting ducks out of Catholic churches.
Within the last 13 months, church attendance has been pared back to a meagre 10 percent; thereâs no more Holy Communion on the tongue, no more Holy Water, and now, as the Lordâs Mother told Him at the Wedding Feast at Cana, âThey have no wineâ.
One wonders if that is not the point
