parents were upset and said the school kept them in the dark. that was monday. now we re standing here wednesday. the principal at damascus high school says that contractor may have actually touched one of the damascus high school students when that student was visiting baker. a letter was sent out today. we wanted to know what we could find out about this contractor. this is the man police say groped a tween at john t. baker middle school last month, 44- year-old john edward epps jr., a contractor hired by a temp agency by a company called net com worked on security cameras, police say also the same one that touched a 12-year-old girl s buttocks that ended in charges. today the school held a meeting. they said it was an isolated incident. how do you know? reporter: wusa9 is learning it may not be. today the principal of damascus high school sent out a letter saying one of her students may have been touched inappropriately by epps during a visit to baker. we did a quick s

shoal creek terrace in beltsville today. what was the neighbor s reaction after seeing that little baby? reporter: surprised to say the least. around noon today a woman in this neighborhood found an abandoned newborn baby girl in her own backyard and then called 911. here s what she tomorrow us a few moments ago. i walked out to my back poh a baby crying. normally people walk their baby around the neighborhood, a nice development. so when i heard it again and i heard it closer, i stepped on my back porch to see what it was and i saw a baby laying in the grass. this is crazy. i m overwhelmed. what do i do at this point? after i got her and cleaned her up first thing was call the police. it s a blessing for me to have found her. anything could have happened to her. reporter: so what a surprise for that woman today in beltsville. you may wonder the condition of the baby. we understand the baby was taken to a local hospital and is fine and the police are now looking for
she was a graduate of eastern high school in the district and drexel university where she studied computer science. for about 20 years carol glover worked as a contractor for the federal government downtown. her son said that each day she would board a bus near her home in alexandria go to pentagon si, and get on the yellow line to go into d.c. to work. and at the end of the workday, she would reverse that trip. she did it every day for about 20 years. but yesterday she never made it home. diana rodriguez is a neighbor of carol glover. the two used to ride the bus together. she s a really lovely warm wonderful person, and i m really just devastated to hear this really. she was a great neighbor really beautiful lady. reporter: and then for her to die this way. terrible. really really tragic. uh. i just hate to hear this. reporter: carol glover worked for dkw communications. in 2014 she was named employee of the year. we re all still in shock. i mean we just found out
