Pa. man who doused himself with gas, set his house on fire, deserves new home in a jail cell, court says

A bankrupt and frustrated man convicted of setting his home on fire must stay housed in a Pennsylvania prison for up to a decade, a state appeals court panel has decided.
In an opinion by Judge Victor P. Stabile, the Superior Court extinguished John M. Sekerak’s claim that Berks County prosecutors didn’t prove he is an arsonist.
Instead, Stabile’s court upheld Sekerak’s convictions on arson, reckless endangerment and insurance fraud charges, along with his 5 to 10-year prison sentence. ....
