[email protected] FAIRMONT– The Fairmont City Council discussed the future of the new Public Works Facility at Monday night’s meeting. However, the discussion did not end in a motion to proceed or not proceed in the direction of the project. John Pristash, LEED AP. Senior Project Manager at Kraus-Anderson, presented a presentation that included three different projects two being of an estimated cost of $5 million for a stand-alone project of the Margaret Street building and $5 million addition to the Line Department. The council didn’t move further with these options and went a different route. The route went back to the agenda of the previous meeting. In the last city council meeting, the motion to award the bids for the new Public Works Facility failed. The same motion once again was offered to the council and failed 2-3.
