Prime Minister Scott Morrison is also likely to attend climate talks at the White House in April and is a guest at the June G7 Summit in Britain, where climate change will be a top issue.
Morrison is inching towards adopting net zero by 2050 but insists countries need a practical plan to achieve the target and says Australiaâs approach will be âtechnology driven, not taxes drivenâ.

Ahead of those summits, Finkel has spruiked the Morrison government recently released technology road map during meetings with the UKâs Minister for the Pacific and Environment Zac Goldsmith, ambassador to Australia Vicki Treadell and Johnsonâs COP26 envoy John Murton.
