A Fort Lauderdale man and his 4- year-old son were found dead Friday in the Las Olas by the River condo, seen Sunday.
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. A man and his 4-year-old son are dead two lives snuffed out, two families heartbroken.
And now questions are swirling about what went wrong and who’s to blame.
This we know: On Friday night, after getting frantic pleas from the boy’s mother to check on her son, police found the bodies of John Michael Stacey, 47, and 4-year-old Greyson Martin Kessler in his downtown condo at Las Olas by the River. ....

Greyson Martin Kessler, 4, was found dead on Friday along with his father, John Michael Stacey, in  Stacey s Fort Lauderdale condo
The boy s mother, Alison Kessler, says the authorities failed to protect her son after Stacey reportedly sent threatening text messages and emails to her
Concerned for her son s safety, Kessler asked for an emergency pick-up order 
Police discovered the boy and his father s bodies at around 11.30pm and deemed the deaths a murder-suicide ....
