A muggy morning in the suburbs and new jersey, middle 70s right now. The humidity will be dropping during the day today. And the temperatures wont be as extreme as they have been. That 80 degrees will warm into the very low 90s for philadelphia. And as the day goes on, drier air will be flowing in on northwesterly wind. That will make a real difference this afternoon, especially in the suburbs and the Lehigh Valley. But it will reach into new jersey as well. 90 degrees for inland areas, upper 80s at the shore. Delaware warms to 91 degrees this afternoon. No showers or thunderstorms during the day today. Im tracking the next chance of them moving back into the area. Central pennsylvania, just pa passing north of allentown. Well see the sunshine and the humidity come way down, into the low 90s this afternoon. A break today from the extreme heat. There is a chance of more showers and thunderstorms in our future. Take a look at when you can expect that when im back in a few minute. It looks like theyre clearing some of the exit ramps early. Cars are moving through. The construction is in place this morning. Sometimes they pick up some of the ramps a little early. For now, westbound and eastbound, not your best bet. You can see flashing lights up here, some of them still closed.
