Dunkirk city Police Chief David Ortolano announced Friday that following an investigation by the department and the Chautauqua County District Attorney’s Office, Jose Rivera-Perez, 31, was arrested and taken into custody on a felony warrant charging him with first-degree assault in connection with the incident. According to reports, the first stabbing described by Chautauqua County dispatch as a male, was located around 7:40 p.m. in the area of Park Avenue and East Sixth Street. The second victim, located about 10 minutes later, was found nearby in the area of Deer Street. ....
