January 7, 2021 The Johnstown Tomahawks of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that rookie forward John Gelatt has committed to further his hockey career playing NCAA Division I hockey at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts beginning in the 2021-22 season. Gelatt is a 5’11/190 lbs. native of Middletown, New Jersey and has been a standout player on and off the ice for the Tomahawks during this unique season. The 19-year-old has found the back of the net 14 times in 16 games and has received multiple individual honors in the first half of the season, such as division star of the week and forward of the month in December throughout the entire North American Hockey League. ....
