I spoke to oaklands chief of police who told me the chp cars you can see parked on broadway underneath highway 880 are part of a new strategy to use chp to protect the freeways so oaklands Police Officers can better protect the businesses. The chief acknowledged should have been better protected. About ten businesses suffered damage. This mobile store cleaned out by looters. And protesters were misguided.
