Donald sterling, the maximum punishment possible for racially charged comments he made to his former girlfriend. Sterling has owned the clippers longer than any owner of any Major Professional Sports Team for more than 30 years. So far, here are the penalties against sterling, he is banned from life for any association with the clippers or the league. The nba also fined him 2 and a half million, the maximum fine allowed, also urging the nba to force sterling to sell the team, a move embraced tonight by the warriors head coach, mark jackson.
