The Daily Ardmoreite On Monday evening recently-elected City Commissioner John Credle, Jr., held a meet and greet event for his constituents as well as other citizens of Ardmore to come together to discuss the issues most important to them. As Credle represents the city’s Northeast Ward, the event took place at Gladiator’s Boxing located on East Main Street. When attendees arrived they were treated to snacks courtesy of Scratch Dat Food Truck and given a brief survey asking about their concerns as well as the positive changes they have noticed in the city. Each attendee was then given a few minutes of one-on-one time with Credle to voice these issues. ....

The Daily Ardmoreite The Ardmore City Commission will be welcoming two new members when they meet on May 3 as John Credle, Jr. and David Plesher will be sworn in to begin their first terms. The pair were elected to serve on Tuesday, and according to the unofficial results provided by the Oklahoma State Election Board, each candidate received approximately 45% of the votes in their respective wards. John Credle, Jr. will be the new commissioner for Ward 2 and will represent the Northeast section of the city. Out of the 1.323 votes cast, Credle received 591 or 44.67%. Angela Sharp came in second place with 297 votes. Blake Gordon, Jr. received 238 votes, and Brad Blackwood received 197. ....
Filing period for local officials ends: Elections set for April 6 in Ardmore and Springer The Daily Ardmoreite The filing period for local elected offices ended Wednesday, and numerous candidates for positions across Carter County have put their names forward to serve their communities. While many of these candidates are running unopposed and will take their respective seats, elections will take place within the City of Ardmore for City Commissioner of Ward 2 and Ward 3 and within the Town of Springer for Town Clerk-Treasurer. The elections are nonpartisan and will take place on Tuesday, April 6. The candidate who receives the most votes will win the seat, and there will be no runoff elections. ....
