Some “porch pirates” have been arrested multiple times. Many residents have been hit repeatedly. The crime trend is especially pervasive in the Second Police District, which includes the large residential sections of Uptown, Gert Town and Fontainebleau. So Second District Commander Jeffrey Walls decided to do something proactive to curb the problem.
