The Greek Festival is many things to many people, but to almost everyone, it s a place for mouth-watering food.
The festival, normally held on Labor Day weekend, was canceled in 2020, and this year s celebration is still up in the air, but the organizers decided to put on an event that will satisfy those hungry for baklava, moussaka, spanokopita and gyros, among other delights.
Taste of Greece will take place this weekend at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 555 N. High St.
“We ve been doing our annual Greek Festival for over 43 years now, and it s become very much a central Ohio tradition,” said John Bizios, one of the festival organizers, who says that he is “old enough to know that I should stop volunteering for events like this, and young enough to keep wanting to volunteer.
