Kyle Phillips / The Transcript Matt McGarry has won the Ward 2 City Council seat, beating out two opponents Tuesday. Unofficial results from the Oklahoma State Election Board s site show that with all precincts reporting, Matt McGarry received 51.32% of the vote, Jay Wendorff received 42.27% of the vote, and John Argo received 5.24%. Edward McGuire filed for the seat and appeared on the ballot, but dropped out of the race. McGuire received 29 total votes. I want to thank all of the voters of Ward 2, McGarry said in a text message Tuesday.
