Alerts. Good morning. Our other top story this morning, a familiar message came from oakland leaders sparked by the latest murder of a 66yearold woman known for her love of animals. We are joined by our reporter. What are they asking for . Members of the community are asking for one thing an end to the violence, saying enough is enough. Judy salamon was gunned down on wednesday. On thursday there was a vigil in her honor and today the memorial grows for judy salamon. The City Council Members were calling for an end for violence and push for answers behind her shooting death. The 66yearold was shot dead blocks from where she lived. She joins with neighbors who wanted to get private patrols. Some were frustrated for not having an opportunity to share this with members of the Oakland Police department.
