Two years weve also launched a program to integrate Employment Services with treatment, so that we can help those with drug addiction not only get clean but get back to work. I am proud that together we enacted an overdose protection law to provide Legal Protection to people and especially to Health Care Professionals who are trying to help. I am proud that we are trying to help nonviolent offenders get access to college through the njstep program. And today, i would like to announce our next steps in helping those battling the disease of drug addiction by improving the way we deliver these services. Right now there are numerous federal, state, and county government programs, providers and nonprofit partners, who fund and deliver some form of adult addiction services.
