YOUNGSTOWN Sometime after a 27-year-old Youngstown rapper performed on stage and left the stage, someone “walked up and shot him” multiple times inside Utopia Video Nightclub on East Midlothian Boulevard early Saturday, killing him. The deliberate way he was shot indicates the man, whose name is not yet being released, was the intended victim of the shooting, police Chief Carl Davis told the news media Monday. “There is no evidence suggesting this was a hate crime,” Davis said of the shootings at the LGBTQ+ club.
