good morning. strong reaction from around the world to the news that broke overnight. north korea s claims it tested a hydrogen bomb. the south and u.n. inspectors can only confirm there was some sort of explosion underground at a nuclear site. they say it showed up on sensors to the north of the 5.1 earthquake. adrian brown has the latest from beijing. a short time ago, the foreign ministry here in beijing gave a briefing to foreign news agencies. the rebuke was quite mild. they appealed to north korea to cease its provocative action and urged north korea to return to the 6-party talks. now, china, of course, is about the only friend that north korea has right now. they have in the past been ideological alleys but there have been deep strains in that relationship during the past few years, namely because of north korea s nuclear program. china in the past have supported sanctions against north korea and, of course, it could be in that position once again if that ....
ukraine. western leaders are meeting and it is part of a new push to bring peace to the conflict. it comes as russian backed rebels gain ground in the east. and officials seriously consider arming ukraine for the first time. the president is reviewing all of his options. the secretary of state offering a strong hint that the u.s. could send weapons of war to ukraine. in it s year long fight against pro-russian separatists. among those is the possibility of providing defensive assistant. to ukraine. and those discussions are going on. also in kiev, the leaders of france and germany they presented ukraine with a new peace plan, that they will also deliver to moscow. the last round of talks collapsed last month after just four hours of negotiating. the fight hike this recent attack has devastated the region. each side blames the other for the rising death toll. the u.n. says it now exceeds 5,000, and more than 12,000 have been wounded. fighting has turned homes into ....
in the news room with what we are learning about this investigation. detectives were at the scene for several hours after they say a man s body was discovered in a two different bags. they were called out this morning to an apartment complex around 9:20 about the first bag, but then they found another. they say at this point, it appears there is only one victim involved. it is now blocked off with crime scene tape, including a pool and a playground. they did not say where the bags were located on the property, but they were out scouring the area, searching for more clues. outre told they are back there conducting a grid search of the area, and we talked to residents, who said they have heard of problems there before but are shocked to hear about something so disturbing so close to home. this is obviously the worst we have seen, and then we looked out of our window and see the yellow crime tape, and we do not know exactly what has happened right now. police have no ....
