Two occupants ejected from car Share Updated: 11:19 AM CDT May 15, 2021 The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash in Issaquena County.Around 5:15 p.m. Friday, a 2005 Dodge Caravan traveled northbound on US 61 near Park Valley.The vehicle suddenly left the roadway and overturned, ejecting two occupants and leaving a third person entrapped. The entrapped occupant was identified as Joe Rushing Jr. Rushing was extricated by emergency personnel and transported to UMMC.One passenger received minor injuries. They were transported to Merit Health Hospital in Vicksburg.The third person was pronounced dead at the scene.
