Gov Ikpeazu takes first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, urge Abians to do same Published The Governor was vaccinated by his Physician, Dr. Mike Enyinnaya at the Government House Umuahia, on Thursday. This was disclosed by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Onyebuchi Ememanka, in a statement issued to DAILY POST. Speaking after receiving the vaccine, Governor Ikpeazu encouraged all those within the age bracket recommended to avail themselves of the opportunity of being vaccinated. According to him, the deployment of the vaccine as a device to fight COVID-19 is a global decision endorsed by the World Health Organization and captured by the NCDC which is the lead agency in Nigeria that is battling coronavirus. ....
