moment right now the dow is down by 33 points take a look at what happened to equity markets overnight in asia you ll see that the nikkei was flat the hang seng was down by .8% and the shanghai composite up by .1% in europe there s active trading taking place in the markets. you ll see it s a little bit of a mixed picture. three major averages are weaker with the ftse down by .5%. italy and spain are seeing stocks higher and then finally check out the treasury market here in the united states. this has been the thing we started watching so closely yesterday. you did see an inversion of the yield curve with the ten year yield challenging the 2 year yield. right nowit s slightly above the 2-year as it should be at least. that inverted slightly yesterday late in the session. right now 10-year is yielding 1.581% the two year is yielding 1.561%. we re getting close on that again. that and maybe this as well investors suffering a bit of whiplash this morning as president trump ch

60 points after the dow closed at a record level yesterday. the s&p closed lower yesterday all the major averages moved off the highs of the session this morning the s&p is indicated up by 5 points the nasdaq up by 10. this came after the fed s decision and after if looked clear that republican leaders reached an agreement, at least in principle, on where they re headed with the tax bill we ll talk more about that green arrows across the board this morning in asia, the nikkei looked like it was down by a quarter percentage point similar declines for the hang seng and shanghai. this morning in europe, with some of the early trading, you will see that there are some declines across the board. the biggest loser is the dax down by a half percentage point. cac in france is down by 0.4%. we have the bank of england and the ecb going to be releasing some policy statements today check out crude oil prices which were lower yesterday crude oil at 56.59 couple of big economic reports

shanghai composite was flat. in european trading, things are barely changed the dax and ftse slightly higher cac down about 0.1%. italian stocks down as well, but in spain stocks are slightly higher checking out wti, still above $50 a barrel sitting at $50.84 a barrel we re following a developing story out of northern california deadly wildfires burning unchecked there. officials say 23 people have died from those fires. more than 3500 structuring have been destroyed leaving hundreds missing in chaotic evacuations firefighters are battling high winds as they try to contain two dozen blazes spanning eight counties yesterday a mandatory evacuation was enforced in sonoma county. we ll get an update from northern california later in the program. i didn t understand why this had been so hectic why people didn t know to leave and confused they were dealing with winds that were above 70 miles per hour on sunday night when you think about that, that means the fire is moving over
