The 67th Annual Houlton Rotary Radio, TV and Internet Auction is just around the corner and will once again provide three full nights of shopping excitement.
The new Rotary year begins in the month of July and on Monday, July 11, the 103rd year of the Houlton Rotary Club started with new President Steven Fitzpatrick leading Rotarians, both in-person and on zoom, in the Pledge of Allegiance and the 4-Way Rotary Test.
Colleges and universities have had to rethink higher education in the pandemic, and make the learning experience more flexible. A new program at Morgan State University focuses on degrees for adult learners returning to school. Its College of Interdisciplinary and Continuing Studies offers non-traditional students, returning students, working adults and others the chance to finish a degree, drawing in part from their own knowledge and professional experience. .
