Incumbent Erika Randall lost her bid for re-election in a close, three-way race for two seats on the Park Rapids City Council. In Nevis, recently appointed council member Ryan Mathisrud lost to Blair Reuther and John Carrier. Menahga voters elected two new candidates for two open seats.
Although Huebner was seeking re-election, Wadena County Auditor-Treasurer Heather Olson said ballots are not reprinted in these situations. The city council read a statement at their Monday, Sept. 26 meeting.
