extraordinarily strong jobs economy. once again this month if jobs claims are at a historic low. the jobs market is tighter than a drum. employers are looking for workers at all levels of the economy. and that s going to keep mr. trump s economy going. with we need workers and probably some of them have to come from the immigration system. so the deal here is, all right, maybe we will help some of them come in at the skills level, the high merits level, not so much at the lower levels. but the fact remains that till sup processes the amount of workers who are available. you can just see the people in the white house saying, look, the retransitionists, saying we think all immigrants repress wages at the high end and low end. paul: is this basically a document aimed at the election in. i think that s right. or, rather, at the election. they re trying to rally or unify republicans. republicans are kind of stumbling around, they re not quite sure how to talk about
