Published on: Tuesday, July 20, 2021 By: Bernama Text Size: PUTRAJAYA: The Court of Appeal has fixed October 5 to hear Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s appeal against a High Court decision which struck out his lawsuit against AMMB Holdings Berhad, AmBank and its former customer relationship manager, Joanna Yu Ging Ping. Yu’s counsel Datuk Dr Gurdial Singh Nijar, when contacted, confirmed the appeal hearing date following case management before senior assistant registrar KB Elena Hong Tze Lan. The former Prime Minister is appealing against the High Court’s decision, which allowed AmBank, AMMB Holdings Berhad and Yu’s application to strike out the suit filed by Najib. Najib filed the suit against AmBank, AMMB Holdings and Yu on Dec 9, 2019 alleging mishandling of his bank accounts by disclosing transactions to fugitive businessman Low Taek Jho or Jho Low. ....
