Axonis Therapeutics, Inc., a Cambridge, Mass.-based biotechnology company advancing breakthrough research to develop therapies for neurological disorders, secured an additional $5m in funding. The round was led by Alexandria Venture Investments with participation from R3 Bio, BoxOne Ventures and Civilization Ventures and the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation and Spinal Research. The company intends to use the funds to advance its novel neuromodulating technology into the clinic.
