Billy Denby, 91, passed away at 4:15pm on Thursday, March 4, 2021, at Eden Village in Glen Carbon. He was born on October 16, 1929, in Carlinville, the son of the late Franklin and Ganelle (Weller) Denby. Survivors include two nieces and their husbands: Sherry and Joe Huff of Wood River, Debbie and Dan Zimmerman of Wood River, three nephews and their wives: Don and JoAnn Brueggeman of Bethalto, Randy and Joyce Brueggeman of Bethalto, Dennis and Jan Denby of Edwardsville, and many other extended family and friends.
Billy was employed at Granite City Steel for over twenty - five years prior to his retirement.
