Dancehall sensation and BOOM Ambassador Shenseea assisted with the hand over of the home to a retired postal worker in St Catherine. BOOM, Jamaica’s first 100 per-cent locally manufactured energy drink by the Wisynco Group, will celebrate its 10 year anniversary in 2021 by gifting 10 of the island’s most vulnerable with 10 houses through the Food For The Poor ‘Tan Ah Yuh Yard’ COViD-19 housing initiative. The announcement was made during the first of the 10 home constructions on Friday, December 18 in Braeton Meadows, Portmore, St Catherine for debilitated, 69-year-old retired postal worker Joan Willie. According to Senior Marketing and Public Relations Manager at Wisynco, Tamara Ward, “During our 10 years, BOOM has established itself as the number one energy drink in Jamaica. Our BOOM consumers are the ones that are really helping all the persons we are able to donate to; so this is a thank you to Jamaica.” ....

Joan Willie sits waiting in her Braeton Meadows yard in Portmore, St Catherine, yesterday as Food For The Poor workmen add the finishing touches to her house donated in partnership with Boom Energy Drink. Willie was selected for the house as the roof of her previous dwelling had started to cave in. Joan Willie can hardly wait to spend Christmas in her new home. The retired postal worker, who had been living in a rickety structure with its roof caving in, was gifted a new house yesterday by Food For The Poor (FFTP) and Wisynco – through its Boom Energy Drink brand – under their Tan A Yuh Yard initiative. ....
