AMAZING care home staff are being treated to a glittering awards night and gala dinner. Sonnet Care Homes, which runs the New Deanery and St Mary’s Court, in Bocking, was shortlisted for three regional Great British Care Awards in 2020, but the ceremony was postponed because of social distancing restrictions. Now seven excited team members have been chosen at random to represent the homes and enjoy a night of glamour at next month s awards bash. The names were picked out of a hat. Irina Cocu, who was one of the seven, said: “I have been praying that I would be picked, I have been part of this amazing team for five years and the awards evenings are the best.” ....
