The Kuki Students Organisation (KSO) has stated that claims made by Manipur Chief Minister that he is in touch with KSO leaders are false and not true. The KSO in a statement stated, “Today, at JN Dance Academy, N. Biren Singh openly claimed that he is in constant touch with KSO-GHQ and some Paite leaders. We would like to categorically state that these claims are false and not true”.
“Survival of even an inkling of the traditional practices and culture can ensure the survival of an entire community even during times of great distress and destruction.”
Manipur joined the nation in celebrating the 13th National Voters' Day on Wednesday under the theme ‘Nothing like voting, I vote for sure’ with he main function organised by the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Manipur at JN Dance Academy.
