　　在中央结核病研究所工作的26年中，辛育龄很少回家，成了一名“住院医”。他拼命钻研，累到浮肿也不闲下来。　　上世纪70年代，肺移植手术刚刚起步，很少有国家从事这方面研究。1979年，辛育龄在国内率先开展了两例人体肺移植手术。　　“当时，全世界也只做了42例。”在辛育龄身边学习工作了29年的中日友好医院胸外科原主任刘德若说，辛老没参加过任何这方面的进修学习，完全是靠自己实验研究取得的成果。　　如今，中日友好医院已迈入世界八大肺移植中心行列，每年肺移植超过100例。刘德若不胜感慨：这与辛老奠定的基础分不开，更凸显了他超强的创新精神和前瞻性。　　像一个不知疲倦的陀螺，辛育龄搞创新几乎到了入迷的程度。　　获国家级科技奖8次，获全国劳动模范、全国先进工作者、白求恩式医务人员等荣誉
