　　“香港國安法實施一周年回顧與展望”專題研討會16日在北京舉行，全國政協副主席、國務院港澳辦主任夏寶龍在開幕式上講話時指出，期盼未來香港經濟更加繁榮，各項事業發展更加均衡，社會更加和諧安寧，特別是現在大家揪心的住房問題必將得到極大改善，亦強調要確保選出管治能力強的堅定愛國者，並對管治者提出“五點要求”。
　　有本港專家學者表示，中央對香港特區管治提出了高標準、嚴要求，香港各界應責無旁貸地肩負使命選賢任能，不怕困難，盡快著手解決困擾港人多年的深層次矛盾，亦要善於發現可造之材，培養他們成為助力香港融入國家發展大局的生力軍。
