Jim Forrest obituary

The former Rangers, Aberdeen and Scotland striker Jim Forrest has died, aged 79. Forrest scored 145 times in only 163 appearances for Rangers between 1962 and 1967, including an astonishing 57 goals in 1964/65. His figures gave him a better goals-to-games ratio than club legends Ally McCoist, Ralph Brand and Jimmy Millar. Forrest was still a teenager when he displaced Millar in the team.
